20th Anniversary of 9/11

September 11 is a national day of service and remembrance in the U.S.
 

Today is the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. We remember and honor all those who have been affected by that tragic day. September 11 is a National Day of Service and Remembrance. 9/11 Day is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that organizes this day of service and has a mission to "transform the annual remembrance of 9/11 into a worldwide day of unity and doing good." Many people may be experiencing particularly strong feelings of grief and loss today. Resources on helping individuals with Down syndrome cope with grief and loss can be found at this link.
