Celiac disease is more common in people with Down syndrome. The GLOBAL Medical Care Guidelines for Adults with Down Syndrome published in 2020 include a section on celiac disease. The authors of the guidelines provided information on celiac disease in people with Down syndrome for health care providers to keep in mind when providing care for adults with Down syndrome. The celiac disease section begins on page 47 of the full guidelines document.
