Challenge of the Day: Do a scavenger hunt in your home.

Get your brain and your body moving today by doing a scavenger hunt in your home. Some themes for scavenger hunts include the alphabet (find objects that start with each letter of the alphabet), colors (find objects for different colors of the rainbow), and shapes (find objects that are circular, rectangular, triangular, etc.). Consider challenging a friend to do the same scavenger hunt at their home. Then compare your findings on a phone or video call. We have done this activity in the form of a "show and tell" during our weekly online socials with individuals with Down syndrome. Participants are encouraged to bring an object for the letter or color of the week and to tell the group about it.
