Did you know? Celiac disease is more common in people with Down syndrome.

Celiac disease is a sensitivity to gluten, a protein in wheat, barley, and rye. Gastrointestinal signs and symptoms of celiac disease include loose stool, constipation, and abdominal discomfort. There are also other signs and symptoms such as vitamin B12 deficiency, changes in mood or behavior, fatigue, and itchy rash.
