Did you know? Many people with Down syndrome are strong visual learners.

Many people with Down syndrome learn better when information is conveyed using pictures or videos. That is why many of the resources for people with Down syndrome in our online library are videos or handouts with a visual component. We also frequently suggest using visual supports to provide reminders, help establish routines, and teach new skills. We do not think that visual supports are something that we "outgrow." In fact, many of us use visual supports (such as apps on our phones) on a daily basis!
