Did you know? Visuals can be helpful for people with Down syndrome of all ages.
Many people with Down syndrome are visual learners and have strong visual memories. Using visuals (also referred to as visual supports) can be particularly beneficial for many people with Down syndrome. We do not think that visuals are something that we "outgrow." In fact, many of us use visual supports (such as apps on our phones, to-do lists, calendars, etc.) on a daily basis!
