Gastrointestinal signs and symptoms of celiac disease include loose stool, constipation, and abdominal discomfort. There are also other signs and symptoms such as vitamin B12 deficiency, changes in mood or behavior, fatigue, and itchy rash. The GLOBAL Medical Care Guidelines for Adults with Down Syndrome include a section on celiac disease. There is also a celiac disease checklist. More information can be found here.
