Did you know? Some "abnormal" lab values are typical for people with Down syndrome.
When running routine blood tests, if a value falls outside the normal range, the computer system will flag it as abnormal. Some of these values, while outside of the normal range, are still typical and/or acceptable for people with Down syndrome. Dr. Hannah Graham developed the resource linked here based on what we have seen and typically recommend at the Adult Down Syndrome Center.
