Did you know? There are medical care guidelines for children, adolescents, and adults with Down syndrome.

In 2020, the GLOBAL Medical Care Guidelines for Adults with Down Syndrome were published. In 2022, a clinical report called Health Supervision for Children and Adolescents with Down Syndrome was published. These evidence-based medical recommendations are intended to support clinicians in their care of individuals with Down syndrome. We encourage individuals with Down syndrome and their families to share these guidelines with their health care providers. More information about the guidelines can be found here.
