Individuals with Down syndrome are living longer and healthier lives than ever before. While there are many similarities in aging of people with and without Down syndrome, there are also some differences. In this webinar, Brian Chicoine, MD, and Hannah Graham, MD, will describe aging in adults with Down syndrome. They will discuss strategies for supporting adults with Down syndrome in promoting their health as they age as well as addressing challenges associated with aging. Topics will include life expectancy, common and uncommon health conditions, and healthy lifestyle choices for aging adults.
