We are looking forward to attending two events in Orlando this July – the Annual Symposium of the Down Syndrome Medical Interest Group (DSMIG) and the Annual Convention of the National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC).
DSMIG Annual Symposium
July 20-22, 2023
The DSMIG Symposium is an opportunity for health professionals to share knowledge and experiences related to clinical care and research of children and adults with Down syndrome. Brian Chicoine, MD, Hannah Graham, MD, Katie Frank, PhD, OTR/L, and Abby Rowley, LCSW, will gather with their colleagues in the Down syndrome community with the goal of improving health of people with Down syndrome. Dr. Frank is the current president of DSMIG. Dr. Chicoine is on the board of DSMIG and will be presenting during the symposium. Dr. Graham is presenting a poster.

NDSC Annual Convention
July 20-23, 2023
The NDSC Convention is a 4-day event filled with opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome, their families and caregivers, and medical and educational professionals to learn, network, and have fun. Dr. Chicoine, Dr. Frank, and Abby are presenting several times throughout the event. The topics of their presentations include mental health, sensory, social skills, behavior, and more.
