Congratulations to Erin Dominiak, MD, who was recognized by Chicago Magazine as an Exceptional Woman in Medicine!
Dr. Dominiak has been a physician at the Adult Down Syndrome Center since 2007. She received her undergraduate degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her medical degree from Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, which is the hospital campus on which the Adult Down Syndrome Center is located. Dr. Dominiak trained at the Adult Down Syndrome Center during her residency.
Thankfully, Dr. Dominiak never left! She has been a physician at the Adult Down Syndrome Center and faculty member of the Family Medicine residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital since 2007. A family member of a patient recently shared, “Our experience with Dr. Dominiak was absolutely outstanding. The very best visit my special needs son has ever had. Wonderful, extraordinary, phenomenal.”
We are so fortunate to have Dr. Dominiak on the multidisciplinary team at the Adult Down Syndrome Center. To learn more, please see the Meet our Team page on our website.
