  1. Ice breaker

Here is an example from the group we held on Monday:

Ice breaker

The participants spun a wheel with a variety of getting to know you questions. They talked about things they like to do and their "favorites" (movie, TV show, music, sports, food, etc.).

Physical activity

We started with stretches. We used a stretching video opens in new window from YouTube.

Typically, we go for a walk outside. Due to the high temperatures, we did a Walk at Home video opens in new window. The pace was a bit fast for some of us, so we lowered the playback speed (using the gear icon).

Leisure activity

We colored mandala window clings opens in new window. Coloring is a great way to reduce stress and promote health.

Healthy snack

We made healthy banana splits! Each participant got 1/2 of a banana and a few scoops of yogurt. They picked their toppings - fresh berries (we used blackberries and raspberries), slivered almonds, shredded coconut, and chia seeds.
