Did you know? 

Tasks that require fine motor skills can be difficult for some people with Down syndrome.

People with Down syndrome tend to have smaller hands, shorter fingers, and loose/flexible ligaments. These factors may contribute to making it more challenging to do tasks that require fine motor skills. One such task is tying shoes. Wearing adaptive shoes and/or trying an alternative method for tying shoes may help. Please see the links below for resources on this topic.
