Did you know?

Individuals with Down syndrome can go to college.

One way to promote our health is to stay socially and mentally engaged. This can be challenging for some individuals with Down syndrome after they leave high school. There are a variety of postsecondary school options open to individuals with Down syndrome that can help with social and mental engagement. Some individuals choose to continue their education and go to college or other postsecondary education programs.

On Tuesday, October 20, a postsecondary planning fair called CHOICES will be held virtually. It will include information for students with IEPs and 504 plans on the process of applying for and accessing services at the college level. More information can be found at this link. Additional college and vocational training resources can be found in our online library at this link
