Overpronation is an issue we discuss frequently at the Adult Down Syndrome Center. It occurs when the ankles/feet roll inward too far while walking or running. It can lead to foot, ankle, knee, hip, and back pain. In the resource linked here, Dr. Brian Chicoine discusses overpronation and describes possible treatment options.
