Description: Getting prepared to go away to camp or weekends away can often feel like an intimidating task, but it doesn't have to be! In this webinar, the presenters share information on supporting teens and young adults in increasing their confidence and independence in the skills needed for heading off to camp, weekends away with friends and family, independent living, and beyond. Topics covered include medication administration (do you really need to take all those supplements when you're going away for a week?), inhalers and spacer use, showering and personal hygiene, menstrual management, dining-out practices, and more. Learn some practical tips and tricks that will help set anyone up for success! Visual tools and resources to continue practicing these skills at home are also shared.
