The video below is a recording of a webinar presented by Brian Chicoine, MD and Katie Frank, PhD, OTR/L on August 4, 2020. Dr. Chicoine is the co-founder and medical director of the Adult Down Syndrome Center in Park Ridge, IL. Dr. Frank is the occupational therapist at the Center. In this presentation, they discuss the importance of sleep as well as practical steps you can take to promote good sleep. They also discuss conditions and issues that can lead to sleep disturbances. Both medicinal and non-medicinal ways to address sleep disturbances are described.
