It can be challenging to avoid eating too many snacks throughout the day while we are spending more time than usual at home. This is true for all of us - kids and adults, people with Down syndrome and those without Down syndrome. A woman in Indiana found a solution - she puts her children's daily snack allowance in a basket. It tells them how much they can eat and allows them to choose when to eat their snacks. This is a great way to stay accountable to a daily goal. Another option is to make a list of your daily snacks and cross them off as you eat them.
