This is a recording of a webinar presented by Katie Frank, PhD, OTR/L of the Adult Down Syndrome Center in Park Ridge, IL. We know that having healthy relationships benefits the physical, mental, and social health of individuals with and without Down syndrome. Sexuality education supports individuals in developing and maintaining these healthy relationships. In this webinar, Katie Frank, PhD, OTR/L discussed why sexuality education is important for individuals with Down syndrome, what topics should be addressed, and how to talk about these topics. Resources were shared including visual supports as well books and free online resources.
