We are looking for individuals with Down syndrome ages 25 or older who are interested in participating in a research study called LIFE-DSR - Longitudinal Investigation for Enhancing Down Syndrome Research. The Adult Down Syndrome Center is one of 11 research sites participating in the LIFE-DSR study, a project of the Down Syndrome Clinical Trials Network (DS-CTN). This study is an observational investigation with the goal to better understand the cognitive and behavioral changes along with the health issues found in adults with Down syndrome as they age and potentially progress toward Alzheimer's disease.

The study lasts 2 years and includes 3 visits (screening/baseline, 1 year, 2 years). At each visit, participants will have a history and physical exam, get their blood drawn, and participate in memory/neuropsychological testing. This is not an interventional trial; no new drug treatment will be tested during this study. Eligible participants are individuals with Down syndrome who are 25 years of age or older and have a study partner who is able to attend study visits.
