We provide a variety of events, classes, and programs that promote physical, mental, and social health.

    Online Groups

    The Adult Down Syndrome Center is offering a variety of online programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. These include a Music Group, Social Skills Groups, and Dating and Relationships Groups. We also host weekly socials to give participants an opportunity to get to know each other better.   • Alzheimers_Disease_and_Down_Syndrome_Support_Group

    Down Syndrome and Alzheimer's Disease Support Group

    Caregivers and loved ones of individuals with Down syndrome and Alzheimer's disease are invited to our Down Syndrome and Alzheimer's Disease Support Group. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of every other month from 6:30-8:00pm at the Adult Down Syndrome Center. Attendees are welcome to share their experiences and receive support from other attendees. Some meetings include an educational component such as a presentation or video with discussion.

    Art Group

    Facilitated by an art therapist, this group involves exploring a variety of art forms including painting, sculpture, mixed media, and more. The group is offered several times throughout the year.

    Games Group

    Facilitated by our occupational therapist, this group encourages social engagement while playing board and card games such as Bingo, UNO, Left Right Center, and more.

    Grief Support Group

    Facilitated by staff from Rainbow Hospice, this Saturday morning group meets one to two times per year. Parents, siblings, and caregivers who have experienced the death of a loved one with a disability are invited.
