The video below is a recording of a webinar presented by Brian Chicoine, MD, on September 13, 2023. In this webinar, Dr. Chicoine describes common health conditions experienced by people with Down syndrome, shares at-home treatments that can be used to address them, and discusses when to consult a health care provider. The conditions covered in the webinar are ear wax build up (cerumen impaction), toenail fungus (onychomycosis), constipation, dry skin, chronic cough, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), hypothyroidism, pneumonia, and blepharitis.
