The video below is a recording of Brian Chicoine, MD, medical director of the Adult Down Syndrome Center, presenting on "Regression and Loss of Skills in Adolescents and Adults with Down Syndrome." He defines regression and loss of skills as well as describes possible causes and potential treatments. He also discusses strategies that can be used when supporting an individual with Down syndrome who is experiencing regression or loss of skills.
