The video below is a recording of a webinar presented by Brian Chicoine, MD and Katie Frank, PhD, OTR/L on March 28, 2021, as part of the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress 37th Annual Virtual Conference. Dr. Chicoine is the co-founder and medical director of the Adult Down Syndrome Center and Dr. Frank is the occupational therapist at the Center. 

In this presentation, they provide an overview of why adolescents and adults with Down syndrome may experience behavior change during a pandemic because of mental health causes. They also discuss medicinal and non-medicinal strategies to address these behavior changes. They share case examples from the Adult Down Syndrome Center and the approach used for each case.
